Beijing Shengtao Education Development and Innovation Research Institute held the 2019 Beijing Normal Experimental Primary School and the inaugural meeting of the Primary School Branch of the China Education International Exchange Association at the Primary School Attached to Beijing Normal University on April 11-12, 2019. The theme of the conference was mainly around primary school curriculum construction. Various directors from the China National Education Advisory Committee, the Peking University, and the National Education Advisory Committee attended this conference. The conference has brought practical guidance, from different educational perspectives, on how to implement the national educational policies on primary education reform in the future, deepen primary school curriculum reform, and strive to develop the quality of education. Vice President of FEDUCATION and former Director of Education and Culture in the City of Mänttä-Vilppula, Dr. Taina Peltonen, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote speech titled “Curriculum Reform and Prospects for Finnish Primary Schools”, sharing the advanced education innovation ideas and the curriculum reform successful practice experiences of Finland.
