During the autumn semester, FEDUCATION implemented both on-site and online “Finland Education in China” Training Program to our Beijing Fengtai No.5 Primary School and Dujiangyan Wanhui school principals and teachers. The designed training aims to help teachers to transform the classroom teaching methods and strategies, which can support them to improve the teaching efficiency and quality. The teachers learned how to transform the national curriculum to school-based curriculum, and innovate the teaching methods into daily lessons (e.g. PBL practice), which learned through lectures, Finnish model lesson analysis and experts’ commenting on Chinese model lesson. The training subjects include Chinese language, mathematic, science, English language, home-economics, and technique-craft.
