In 2021 autumn semester, Finnish International Education Innovation Research Institute (FEDUCATION) designed and implemented the “Finland Education in China” online-remote Training Program to Chinese partner schools in Beijing, Xiong’an New Area and Chengdu, which included Beijing Haidian Wuyi Primary School, Xiong’an Ronghe Dehui School, Xiong’an Shuangwen Kindergarten and Dujiangyan Wanhui School . The training themes includes: Finland education competences and curriculum reform successful practices, school-based curriculum innovation and development, classroom teaching and learning innovation. The FEDUCATION expert teams shared the innovative education ideas, and showed the creative teaching methods to Chinese teachers through lectures, Finnish model lesson analysis and commenting on Chinese model lesson. The school teachers also held the subject-based workshop to discuss how to transfer the learned efficient teaching strategies into daily classroom management and teaching practices, and together continuously polish the Finnish experts commented lessons to better performances.
