On December 28, 2018, Finnish International Education Innovation Research Institute president, Mr. Jari Andersson, Executive President Dr. Dong Li, and Vice President Mr. Pekka Pellinen were invited by Sichuan Wanhui Education Group to participate in the seminar with the theme of “Finnish Family Education and Happiness”.
Directors and school leaders of Sichuan Wanhui Education group attended the lecture. Dr. Dong Li, a representative of the institute, gave a presentation titled “Finnish Education for the Future.” During the presentation, he shared Finland’s education advantages and curriculum reform successful experiences for Finland’s success at being number 1 in basic education in the world.
“The Sino-Finnish cooperation combines the advantages of Finnish education with traditional Chinese culture, and it is believed that it will create a better international education in line with China’s practical situations,” Dr. Dong Li said, “This cooperation with Sichuan Wanhui Education Group is a rewarding experiment in basic education. ”
Sichuan Wanhui Education Group also prepared a roundtable for the parents and experts to exchange their thoughts and ideas. The FEDUCATION expert team and the parents had an in-depth discussion. The parents are concerned about the trending issues in education, and how Finnish education is integrated with China’s national requirements.
